Recovery of Stolen Property Investigation in Pulaski County

(LONDON, KY.) -- On Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, was contacted by Beacon Securtiy Solutions in reference to stolen property from Consolidated Terminals and Logistics Company out of the state of Ohio.
Beacon Security Solutions had been contracted to investigate thefts from the North Bend, Ohio terminal and their investigation led to a residence in Science Hill, KY.
Troopers Eric Moore and Lloyd Cochran responded to the residence on Sunrise Drive in the Science Hill Community in Pulaski County. Further investigation into the incident led to the discovery of 84,000 pounds (42 tons) of fertilizer that had been stolen from the terminal in Ohio.
Trooper Moore seized a tractor - trailer with the fertilizer still loaded and contacted authorities in Ohio for the investigation on the theft.
Charges are expected to be forthcoming, here in Kentucky, pending the outcome of the investigation and presentation of the case to a grand jury.
Trooper Moore is continuing the investigation and was assisted by Trooper Lloyd Cochran.
