News Release

Bell County Murder/Suicide Investigation

Date of News Release: 05/03/2013

(Pineville, Ky.) -- On 05/03/13 at approximately 8:30 am Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan responded to a Wireless 911 call from the Woodland Hills area located in Pineville, Ky. Upon Troopers arrival Anthony Scott Mace, 45, of Pineville and Lisa Mace, 41, also of Pineville, Ky were located inside of a residence deceased.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Anthony Scott Mace had shot his wife Lisa Mace before turning the weapon upon himself. At this time the incident is still under investigation by Kentucky State Police. Both individuals have been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort, Ky for autopsy.
