Fatal ATV Collision on Adams Branch in Pike County

(Elkhorn City, Ky.) -- On Tuesday January 31, 2012 Post 9 Pikeville received a call of a single vehicle ATV accident on Adams Branch in the Elkhorn City community of Pike County. KSP units responded to the scene and preliminary investigation indicates that 35 year old Brian Slone of Pikeville was traveling South on Adams Branch. Slone's ATV left the roadway, entered a nearby creek and overturned. Brian Slone was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Deputy Coroner Denver Bailey. This accident remains under investigation by KSP Trooper Michael Webb.
