Injury Collision on KY 80 in Calloway County

Date of News Release: 02/03/2012

(Hickory, KY) -- Mr. Tony Underhill was traveling south on Vancleve Road and Mr. Stanley Midkiff was traveling East on KY 80. Mr. Underhill was crossing KY 80 when he was struck by Mr. Midkiff. The collision caused Mr. Underhill's vehicle to spin and overturn, coming to final rest upright. Mr. Midkiff's vehicle traveled off the Southbound side of KY 80 and came to final rest in the ditch. Mr. Underhill was transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital where he was treated for multiple injuries. Mr. Midkiff was transported to Murray Calloway Hospital where he was treated and released for minor injuries. Trooper Duvall was assisted at the scene by Murray Calloway County EMS and Murray Calloway County Fire Rescue.
