Injury Collision on US 60 in Henderson County

Date of News Release: 01/12/2012

(Henderson, KY) -- Douglas T. Fulkerson of Henderson KY was operating a blue 2001 Chevrolet truck westbound on US 60 East in Reed KY. The vehicle slid across the opposing lane of traffic and struck the eastbound guardrail. The vehicle began to roll down the guardrail tearing the roof part of the way off the truck. William Campbell Jr. of Henderson, a passenger in the vehicle, was ejected from the vehicle and landed down at the bottom of an embankment adjacent to the roadway. Campbell was transported to Owensboro Mercy Health System in Owensboro and Fulkerson was transported to Methodist Hospital in Henderson where they are currently being treated for non life threatening injuries.
