Fire Investigation in Spencer County

Date of News Release: 01/18/2012

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- At 05:38 hours on Sunday 12-04-11 a residential structure fire was reported at 780 Binkley Lane Taylorsville, KY. The property involved was a two-story log cabin style residence located at the end of Binkley Lane near Taylorsville Lake. The home was owned by Mr. Javan Montgomery and was in the final stages of construction.

Subsequent investigation has determined that a white passenger car was seen leaving the scene at the time of the fire. Anyone with information about this fire is asked to call the Kentucky Arson Hotline at 1-800-27-ARSON (1-800-272-7766). The Kentucky Arson Hotline will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of an arsonist. Callers may remain anonymous.
