Armed Robbery Investigation in Floyd County

Date of News Release: 06/17/2010

(Pikeville, Ky.) -- At approximately 1039 hours on 06/17/2010 Post 9 received a call of an armed robbery at Howard's Family Pharmacy at Eastern in Floyd County. Two armed white males entered the store and left with an undisclosed amount of drugs. There were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery and no employees were injured. This incident is under investigation by Detective Billy Hall, U/601 with the Kentucky State Police.
