Stabbing Investigation in Floyd County

Date of News Release: 01/01/2010

(Prestonsburg, Ky.) -- Pikeville Post 9 received a call from a female stating that a male subject had been stabbed by another male who had fled the scene. Trooper Mullins arrived on the scene on Corn Fork Road in Floyd County. Trooper Mullins determined that Christopher Hayden and Ben Sheppard both had been stabbed. Their injuries are not life threatening at this time. Ben Sheppard was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital. The stabbing is under investigation by Trooper Mullins.
