Citizens' Police Academy begins at Post 5

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police will be hosting its Second Annual Citizens’ Police Academy beginning October 4, 2010. The Citizens' Police Academy is a public outreach program that enables participants to gain a better understanding of police operations conducted by State Troopers. The program consists of 12 classes held weekly covering a wide variety of KSP operations. The program will produce informed citizens regarding the actual role of KSP. Classes will be held Mondays at 7:00 p.m. at Post 5 which is located on Citation Lane in Campbellsburg.
