News Release

Meth Arrest in Trimble County

Date of News Release: 03/13/2010

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- On 3/13/2010, at approximately 1400 hours Kentucky State Police Post 5 received information of a possible meth lab in the limits of Trimble County located at 23 Orchard Court, Pendleton, Kentucky 40055. Kentucky State Police units responded along with the Trimble County Sheriffs' Office. Once on scene units were able to gather enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant. Upon executing the search warrant several meth precursors and drug paraphernalia were found inside the home. There was no active lab found. Trooper Jim Mitchell is the lead investigator whom charged and arrested James P. McFarland age 27, with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
