Update to the Numerous Arrests in the Carroll County Area
Date of News Release: 03/10/2010
(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- The operation conducted by Troopers and Detectives from March 8th to March 9th regarding drug investigations in Carroll County resulted in 12 persons being taken into custody. Grand Jury indictments combined with the additional charges resulted in a total of 33 criminal charges. Consequently from the operation, one vehicle, numerous firearms, various quantities of illegal narcotics and over $1000 in cash were seized. More arrests may follow. (Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- Troopers and Detectives from KSP Post 5 have made numerous arrests during the last 48 hours as a result of multiple drug investigations in the Carroll County area. After receiving Grand Jury indictment warrants stemming from drug investigations, KSP officers conducted an operation to execute the arrest warrants. During the process of making the arrests, Troopers seized weapons, vehicles, and over $1000 in cash. Additional criminal charges have been made as the investigation developed. More arrests are anticipated as a resulted of the investigation.
