Church Fire Investigation

Date of News Release: 06/10/2010

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Morgantown Fire Department contacted the West Kentucky Fire Task Force last date in reference to a church fire at the Iglesia Pentecostes El Nazareno Church in Morgantown. The State Fire Marshall, the Task Force, and KSP participated in an investigation of the incident and determined it was caused by lightning. No further investigation is pending.
