Two Injured in a Two Semi Collision on I-65

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- James Kazee was traveling southbound in the right lane of Interstate 65. Glen Michael Thomas, a tractor trailer, is parked on the southbound shoulder of Interstate 65 in front of Mr. Kazee with its hazard lights activated. Mr. Kazee's vehicle approaches Mr. Thomas' vehicle, Mr. Kazee veers off of the roadway and collides with Mr. Thomas' vehicle. Both trucks catch fire and become fully engulfed. Mr. Thomas' escaped his truck unassisted and received medical treatment for broken ribs. Mr. Kazee was extricated by a passerby, and sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Mr. Kazee was then flown to the University of Louisville Hospital where he is in stable condition.
