DUI Collision on Lewis Jones Road in Todd County

Date of News Release: 08/23/2010

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Mr. David J. McPherson was operating his truck on Lewis Jones Road and ran head on into a tree. Mr. McPherson stated he was going down the gravel road and his tires lost grip of the roadway and he slid into the tree. In the front seat of the pick-up with the driver were Tiffany Stokes and Kayce Powell both of Elkton. In the bed of the pick-up were Anthony Sova and Timothy Turner of Elkton, and Jeremy Markham of Guthrie. The driver and 4 passengers were taken to Jennie Stuart, and Jeremy Markham was flown to Vanderbilt. The driver was charged with Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense.
