One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Brain Gibson, 27 of Crofton, KY, was operating a 2006 International Truck northbound on the Edward T. Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway. He was hauling asphalt. As his vehicle exited off the parkway onto the ramp, he lost control. The vehicle exited off the left side of the ramp and overturned coming to rest on its driver's side. Mr. Gibson was transported by ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt. Trooper Camileo Threatt investigated the crash that occurred on July 19, 2010 at 6:30 a.m. Trooper Michael Dennis, KSP CVE Officer Seldon Calhoun, the Christian County Sheriff's Department and the Hopkinsville Fire/Ambulance Department assisted at the scene.
