Two Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Randy Ingram, age 59 of Boonville, IN, was operating a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway approaching the 53 mile-marker during a heavy rainfall. Mr. Ingram lost control of his vehicle and exited the right shoulder of the roadway causing the right, front bumper of this truck to make contact with an earth embankment. The impact caused his vehicle to overturn onto its top where it slid approximately 32 feet before coming to rest on its top on the right shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Ingram and his wife, Marilee Ingram, age 55 of Boonville, IN, were transported by ambulance to Regional Medical Center for treatment. Both occupants were wearing seat belts. Trooper Ben Sawyer investigated the crash that occurred on July 9, 2010 at 12:15 p.m. KSP CVE Sergeant Bruce Patterson, the Hanson Volunteer Fire Department, Medical Center Ambulance Service, and Webster County EMS assisted at the scene.
