News Release

Fatal Helicopter Accident

Date of News Release: 07/06/2010

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Timothy Watson was crop dusting a corn field on Caldwell Springs Road in Crittenden County. Mr. Watson was operating a Robinson Helicopter Model R44 spraying fungicide and fertilizer. The helicopter came in contact with power lines. The helicopter landed approximately 200 feet from the power lines and caught on fire. Mr. Watson was found deceased inside the helicopter. FAA and NTSB have both been notified and are sending investigators to the collision scene and should arrive tomorrow, July 6, 2010.
