Two Killed in a Single Vehicle Collision on US 60

Date of News Release: 07/02/2010

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Mr. Carlos A. Aguilar and Mr. Ronnie Lee Pitre Jr. were the only occupants of the vehicle traveling east on U. S. Hwy. 60. Evidence on the scene suggests the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway. The driver then overcorrected and ran off the left side of the roadway striking a tree. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by the Crittenden County Coroner's Office
