News Release

Non-Criminal Accidental Dog Bite Investigation

Date of News Release: 06/23/2010

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- On Tuesday June 22, 2010, the Kentucky State Police Madisonville received a call from Muhlenberg County Central Dispatch of an 8 month old that had been bitten in the face by the family Pit Bull in the Beechmont Community. The juvenile was transported by PHI Air Medical for treatment of non-life threatening injuries to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. The Humane Society responded to the scene and quarantined the dog.
