January Activity Report From Post 1

(Hickory, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police Post One Activity Report for the month of January is as follows:

Post One Mayfield covers the 11 counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg. For the month of January, there were 4 people killed in fatal collisions in the Post One area. Of those who died, one was not wearing a seatbelt. For the same period in 2009 there were five people killed in fatal collisions in the Post One area. State wide for 2010, there have been 55 people killed compared to 57 in 2009.
