One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on Hwy 68

(Metcalfe County, Ky.) -- Trooper Daniel Stephens is investigating a collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon at approximately 1:20pm., 8 miles East of Edmonton on U.S. 68. Ricky Young, age 48, of Edmonton was traveling East on U.S. 68 in a 1999 Chevy Cavalier when he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. Young was not wearing a seatbelt; airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital.

Trooper Stephens was assisted at the scene by the Metcalfe County Sheriff's office, Barren-Metcalfe EMS and the Metcalfe County Fire Department.
