One Killed in a Single Vehicle Collision on Popes Creek Road

(Columbia, Ky) -- Trooper Brian Coyt is investigating a fatal Collision which occurred on February 15, 2010 at 0545 a.m. 6 miles East of Lebanon on Popes Creek Road. Jose Manuel Rodriguez, age 29, of Lebanon was operating a 1999 Mitzsubishi, unknown if belted, was eastbound on Popes Creek Road, dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway and overturned in a creek. Rodriguez was pronounced deceased at the scene by Marion County Deputy Coroner. An autopsy will be performed on Tuesday in Louisville.
