One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision at the intersection of Spring Street and Jefferson Street

(Albany, Ky.) -- A minor injury collision occurred in the limits of Albany at the intersection of Spring Street and Jefferson Street at 3:49p.m.. A 2008 Crown Vic Police Cruiser operated by Deputy Kent McDaniel, of Albany, age 50, was belted, was backing into a driveway and struck a post beside the driveway. A passenger, Jeffery Lee Clark, of Albany, age 21, not belted, was transported to Clinton County Hospital where he was treated and released. Deputy McDaniel was not injured.

Trooper David Long is investigating.
