Two Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on US 68
Date of News Release: 01/27/2010
(Lebanon, KY.) -- On 01/27/2009, a collision occurred at 4:05 PM 3 miles West of Lebanon on US 68. Chelsey Wheatley of Lebanon KY, age 19, was operating a 2006 Mercury East bound on US-68. Tyler Royse of Columbia KY, age 25, was operating a 2004 Jeep Cherokee West bound on US 68. Ms. Wheatley lost control, ran off the roadway, over corrected coming back onto the roadway striking the Mr. Royse's vehicle in the side. Both Ms. Wheatley and Mr. Royse were wearing their seat belts and treated and released at Springview Hospital in Lebanon. Stephen Burris of Columbia KY, age 15, was a passenger in the Mr. Royse's vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt and not injured. TPR Fred Cornett investigated the collision.
