One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on KY 80

(Columbia, Ky.) -- Trooper Jeremy Johnson is investigating a collision that occurred eight miles East of Columbia on KY 80 at 1:00PM. Reba Cowan, age 49 of Columbia was traveling West on KY 80 in a 1999 Ford Ranger when she lost control due to slick road conditions, crossed the center line and went over an embankment. Ms. Cowan was wearing a seat belt; she was treated and released from Westlake Regional Hospital. Two passengers in the vehicle, 9 yr old Byron Corbin and 1 yr old Jaicee Reynolds both of Columbia were restrained and not injured. Trooper Johnson was assisted at the scene by Trooper Martin Wesley.
