January Activity Report From Post 14

(Ashland, Ky.) -- During the month of January 2010, there were 67 motor vehicle collisions investigated by State Police working out of the Ashland Post in the four counties of Boyd, Greenup, Carter, and Lawrence.

During January of 2010 there were 4 fatalities in the Post 14 area, which occurred in Boyd (1) and Carter (3) Counties compared to 2 in Lawrence County in January 2009. Statewide fatalities stand at 55 compared to 57 for the same time period in 2009.
