Explosive Devise Threat Made In Hazard and Louisville

(Hazard, Ky.) -- On February 26, 2010 at approximately 3:09 pm Kentucky State Police received a call from Federal Bureau of Investigations reference to a threat that had made at the William D. Gorman Educational Center located in Hazard Ky., which houses the offices of U.S. Senator Jim Bunning and Congressman Hal Rogers.
The threat was that an explosive devise or devises had allegedly been placed at the educational center. A threat had also been made at Senator Bunning's Office in Louisville.
Kentucky State Police responded to the call in Hazard, evacuated the premises and notified canine to do a search of the area. At the time of this release nothing has been located and the Federal Bureau of Investigations will be conducting the investigation.
