Fatal House Fire in Jeremiah, Ky

Date of News Release: 01/08/2010

(Jeremiah, Ky.) -- On January 7, 2010 at approximately 6:41 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard received a call of a structure fire on Tooter Branch Road in the Jeremiah community of Letcher County. After the fire was extinguished, 68 year old Lindsey Blair was located deceased inside the residence. The fire appears to be accidental at this time. The incident remains under investigation by Det Gary Sandlin and Arson Investigator James Burnett of the KY State Police.
