Two Scott County Juveniles Charged with Arson

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- Kentucky State Police investigation has led to two Scott County juveniles being charged with arson. On Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 3:15 PM a fire destroyed a wooden storage building located at 505 Lisle Road Georgetown, KY. This building was owned by the Scott County Fiscal Court and was utilized for storage by the Georgetown/Scott County Youth Soccer Association. The building and contents valued at $8,000 were completely destroyed.

Subsequent investigation by Kentucky State Police and Scott County Fire Department led to the charges of Arson 2nd Degree and Burglary 3rd Degree to be filed with the Scott County CDW against two juveniles who were responsible for setting the building on fire.
