Wanted Ohio juvenile arrested after a pursuit

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- On Friday, May 07, 2010 at 12:35 AM, Sgt. Jason Lovins clocked a vehicle on New Circle Road traveling at 108 mile per hour with no light on. The Lexington Division of Police was actively investigating a disturbance involving the eluding vehicle when the vehicle passenger ran foot and the driver rammed and disabled a Lexington Police cruiser.

The pursuit traveled from Lexington down Versailles Road to the Bluegrass Parkway and ended just east of Greensburg in Green County, where a Trooper used legal intervention to stop the eluding vehicle. The driver a 17 year juvenile from Eaton Ohio was arrested at 1:40 AM and taken to the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY. He is facing numerous felony and traffic charges by the Lexington Division of Police and the Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post 12 and Columbia Post 15. The juvenile is wanted in Ohio on felony robbery and assault charges. The investigation is continuing and will be updated.
