Marijuana Seized and Arrest in Shelby County

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- At 1558 hrs Trooper Hunter Martin stopped the Elvis Galindo on I-64 in Shelby County for a traffic violation. Subsequent investigation revealed Elvis Galindo was transporting approximately 5 lbs of marijuana from Louisville to Shelbyville. Mr. Galindo was arrested and the marijuana was seized along with cash and his 2002 Cadillac Deville. He was lodged at the Shelby Co Jail and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana Greater Than 5 Pounds.
