One Killed and Four Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on I-64

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- The Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Franklin County on Sunday, morning at 8:51 AM, a single vehicle collision occurred on I-64. The vehicle was westbound on I-64 at the 58 mile marker in Franklin County. The driver left the roadway and lost control. The vehicle overturned several times. The driver Kiara L. Hinkle age 21, of Louisville, KY was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner. Jason W. Turner a passenger in the vehicle age 19, of Florence, KY was injured and taken to the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Three other passengers Nikki M. Berry age 20, of Lexington, KY, Natya A. Stafford age 23, of Lexington, KY, and Aubrey D. Barton age 19 of Lexington, KY were taken to the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY. The collision is under investigation by the Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post.
