Women Wanted in the Escape of Two Frankfort Inmates

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- The Kentucky State Police are investigating the escape of the two minimum security inmates who left the Frankfort Career Development Center on Tuesday night. Investigators believe that Cindy Smith of Stanton helped the inmates escape. According to records Cindy Smith (Johnson) is the wife of inmate James Johnson. Cindy Smith (Johnson) is a 40 year old white female, 5'4, 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Her last know address was in Stanton, KY. James Johnson and William Johnson were reported missing at 10 P.M Tuesday Night.
James Johnson was serving a six year sentence for Burglary 3rd degree, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking. He would have been eligible for parole in June 2010. James Johnson is a 27 year old white male, 5' 8", 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
William Johnson was serving a nine year sentence for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking. He would have been eligible for parole in November 2010. William Johnson is a 23 year old white male, 6' 3", 246 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
