Scott County Death Investigation

Date of News Release: 02/04/2010

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- On Thursday, February 04, 2010 at 10:16 AM the Scott County Sheriff's Office received a call of a deceased female at 972 Double Culvert Road in northern Scott County. The Scott County Sheriff's Office arrived and called the Scott County Coroner. The Scott Coroner then called the Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post.

Kentucky State Police arrived a started conducting a death investigation. The victim has been identified as Glenda Sue Jones, age 68, W/F of Scott County. She was found inside her residence. Anyone with information about this investigation or the victim is asks to contact Det. Buck Brennan at the Kentucky State Police Post in Frankfort at 502-227-2221.

The investigation is continuing. Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post is being assisted by Scott County Sheriff's Office, Scott County Coroner's Office, Boone County Sheriff's office and the Kentucky State Police Northern Lab.
