One Killed in a Two Vehicle Collision on US127

Date of News Release: 01/13/2010

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- Francis R. Downs Jr. was traveling north on US127. As he entered Anderson County, Rosemary B Spurlock was pulling her vehicle from a business on US127 attempting to cross both northbound lanes to go south on US127. Mr. Francis R. Downs Jr's vehicle struck Ms. Rosemary B Spurlock's vehicle in the driver's door. Alcohol involvement is pending toxicology results. Ms. Rosemary B Spurlock was flown to UK Medical Center where was pronounced deceased.
