Three Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision in Wayne County

(London, Ky.) -- On Tuesday, March 09, 2010, at approximately 4:30 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London received a report of a two vehicle traffic crash, with injury, on KY 90 in Wayne County.

Upon arrival KSP Trooper Sean Dixon determined that a red, 1996, Chevrolet, Camaro, operated by Lucas Marcum, 18, of Monticello, was making a right turn from KY 3106 onto KY 90 when it struck a black, 2008, Dodge, Charger, operated by Charles Boston, 63, of Monticello, in the passenger side.

Marcum and his passenger, a juvenile male, were transported from the scene by the Wayne County EMS to the Wayne County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Boston drove himself to the Wayne County Hospital for precautionary reasons.

No Alcohol or drug involvement is suspected.

Trooper Dixon is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by the officers from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the Whitley County EMS and the Monticello Fire Department.
