Meth Lab Incident and Arrests in McCreary County

(London, Ky.) -- On Monday February 08, 2010 at 9:18 PM the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a complaint of a possible Methamphetamine Lab at a residence on Lum Strunk Road in the Strunk community of McCreary County.
Upon arrival officers located an active one step lab along with several adults and a 5 year old child. Trooper Edward Jones arrested the following people:
James H. Coffey, 24, of Winfield, TN, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1ST Offense, Controlled Substance Endangerment of a Minor 4TH Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1ST – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1ST Offense.
Jonathan E. Coffey, 30, of Waynesburg, KY, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1ST Offense, Controlled Substance Endangerment of a Minor 4TH Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1ST – Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1ST Offense and Possession of Marijuana.
Jessica E. Cox, 28, of Stearns, KY, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1ST Offense, Controlled Substance Endangerment of a Minor 4TH Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1ST – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1ST Offense.
Corey Stigall, 19, address unknown, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1ST Offense, Controlled Substance Endangerment of a Minor 4TH Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1ST – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1ST Offense.
Joey Hicks, 30, address unknown, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1ST Offense, Controlled Substance Endangerment of a Minor 4TH Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1ST – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1ST Offense.
Trooper Jones is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by Trooper Tony Dingess, officers with the KSP Drug Enforcement / Special Investigations East Division, McCreary County Sheriff’s Office and the Department for Community Base Services.
