Escapee Arrested in Pulaski County

(London, Ky.) -- On Friday January 29, 2010 at 9:30 AM the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received information that an escapee from home incarceration, in Jackson County, was possibly at a residence in the Nancy area of Pulaski County.

Trooper Anthony Phillips, Trooper Chris Ison and Detective Doug Boyd went to the residence on Prather Drive in Nancy where they located Jason E. Smith, 21, of McKee, KY.

Mr. Smith was on home incarceration for Burglary 3rd and Theft charges.

Mr. Smith was arrested on an Escape warrant taken out by the Kentucky Department of Corrections and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
