Extension of KSP Post Nine Citizen Academy

(Pikeville, Ky.) -- The start date of the Kentucky State Police Citizens Police Academy from October 8, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. has been changed to October 22, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. The location is still at Prestonsburg High School, Prestonsburg, KY.

Date of News Release: 09/26/2009

(Pikeville, Ky.) -- Attention, Students, Church Groups and Civic Organizations, the Kentucky State Police Civilian Police Academy will start October 8, 2009 at Prestonsburg High School at 6:00 p.m. The class will run for eleven weeks and will meet each Thursday evening. There are still openings available and the classes are free of charge. If you eighteen years old or older, and would like to learn more about you're Kentucky State Police I invite you to fill out the application online at http://www.kentuckystatepolice.org/posts/post9.htm. Anyone 18 years of age or older living within the Kentucky State Police Post 09 area of Johnson, Floyd, Martin, Magoffin, Pike County is welcome to apply. There is no cost to attend.
