Meta Double Kwik Robbery

(Pikeville, Ky.) -- At 11:40 pm Post 9 received a call from a clerk at the Meta Double Kwik advising he had been robbed. An unknown male subject entered through the front door while the clerk was sweeping the front lot. The male suspect went to the registers and took an undetermined amount of money and several cartons of cigarettes. The clerk observed him behind the counter and entered the store at which time the male suspect was getting the cigarettes off the shelf. The clerk went back to the door to get behind the counter and the male suspect ran out the back door. A witness pulling into the store stated that a red 1992 Ford F150 with the tailgate missing, was pulling out of the store from the back, heading north on US 119.

Male subject was approximately 6'ft tall, medium build, wearing a grey hoodie, black ski mask that covered his entire face, jeans, gloves, and brown boots.
