South Williamson Super 8 Motel Robbery

(South Williamson, Ky.) -- Post 9 Pikeville received call from front desk clerk South Williamson Super 8 Motel advising she had been robbed. A white male approximately 6 foot wearing gray hoody sweatshirt, green army jacket and blue bandana came into the motel, brandished a knife, and demanded money from the clerk. The subject left in an unknown direction. Trooper Hoyt Smith U/373 arrived on scene within 4 minutes of the robbery and attempted to locate the perpetrator in area. Assisting at the scene was Trooper Chris Phillips U/728. The case is under investigation by trooper Hoyt Smith U/373.
