KSP Detective Receives Certificate of Excellence From Growing Up Safe

(Pikeville, Ky.) -- On 04-06-2009 at 11:30 a.m. Certificate of Excellence was presented to Detective Billy Hall of the Kentucky State Police Post 09 for his dedication and hard work in child abuse investigations. Detective Hall is currently investigating nine child abuse investigations in Johnson and Martin Counties with arrest pending. Shawna Howell, President of Growing Up Safe (GUS), said that Detective Hall is exemplary in his investigative skills and shows great attention to detail in gathering the facts in a case investigation. He takes great care to treat each victim with respect and patience.

Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Tony Skeans stated, "It is with great appreciation that we present Detective Hall this certificate of excellence. "

Detective Hall is an eighteen year veteran with the Kentucky State Police. Detective Ben Cramer and Detective Jason Dials have also won the Certificate of Excellence in previous years.
