Fatal Collison on Mountain Parkway in Wolfe County

Date of News Release: 08/21/2009

(Morehead, Ky.) -- At 12:12 pm Kentucky State Police Morehead responded to a 2 vehicle accident on the Mountain Parkway spur in Campton Ky. Mrs. Lois L Bush, 67, of Campton was attempting to negotiate a left turn and crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. Mrs. Bush was then struck head on by another vehicle traveling northbound. Mrs. Bush was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Anthony Fannin U/900.
