Lincoln County Fire Investigation

(Waynesburg, KY)-- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond, is seeking the public's assistance with any information in regards to a residential fire that occurred on September 8th, 2009 at 1945 Maple Swamp Road in the Lincoln County community of Waynesburg. The fire consumed a single wide trailer, and was a complete loss prior to the arrival of the fire department. The property belongs to a resident of Ohio. This fire is being investigated as a possible arson. Persons with information are asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond at (859) 623-2404, 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state), or the Arson Tip-Line at 1-800-27-ARSON. The investigating officer is Arson Investigator Pat Alford.
