KSP Post 7 Welcomes New Troopers

(Richmond, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police Post 7 at Richmond is pleased to welcome two recent KSP Academy graduates to our post. Trooper Jesse A. Armstrong and Trooper Michael W. Keeton graduated from the Kentucky State Police Academy in Frankfort on June 13th, 2009.
Trooper Jesse Armstrong, age 26 is a Corbin native, and a graduate of South Laurel High School and Eastern Kentucky University. He will be assigned to the East Squad, which consists of Estill, Jackson, Lee and Owsley counties.
Trooper Michael Keeton, age 28 is a West Liberty native and a graduate of Morgan County High School and Eastern Kentucky University. He will be assigned to the West Squad, which consists of Boyle, Mercer, Garrard, Lincoln and Jessamine counties.
Both Armstrong and Keeton will be spending the next eight weeks assigned to veteran troopers who will be their Field Training Officers.
