Execution of search warrant in Bracken County

Date of News Release: 07/06/09

(Foster, Ky.) -- Detective Scott Lengle with Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant today at 19 Hammers Drive, Foster KY. The search warrant was obtained from an investigation of a shooting that occurred yesterday on Jones Lane, Foster KY. Assisting Detective Lengle were Trooper David Jones and Fish and Wildlife canine officer Charles Phillips. As a result of this search warrant Detective Lengle arrested Charles W Weathers Jr. of Foster, KY. Mr. Weathers was charged with two counts of Assault 1st Degree and one county of Tampering with Physical Evidence. This incident is still under investigation by Detective Lengle with the Kentucky State Police.
