Update to the Pendleton County Shooting Investigation
Date of News Release: 03/17/09
(Dry Ridge, Ky.) - At approximately 2037 Hours, on March 16, 2009, units from the Kentucky State Police Post 6 along with the Falmouth Police Department and the Pendleton County Sheriff's Department responded to the residence at 204 Maple Avenue in Falmouth, KY reference a shooting. Mr. Kyle R. Glass, 18 years of age, of Union, KY arrived at the residence and was involved in a physical altercation with a Mr. Jack Wayne Hutchison, 19 years of age, of Falmouth, KY. During the altercation, Mr. Glass sustained a gunshot wound to his face while Mr. Hutchison sustained a gunshot wound to his chest. Mr. Glass was transported to the University of Cincinnati Hospital via helicopter. Mr. Hutchison was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center via helicopter. Both subjects remain in critical condition. The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Scott Lengle.

(Dry Ridge, Ky.) - At approximately 2037hrs units from Kentucky State Police Post 6, along with Falmouth Police Department and Pendleton County Sheriff Department responded to a residence on Maple Street in Falmouth in reference to a shooting. An 18 year old male of Union, Ky arrived at the residence on Maple Street and was involved in an altercation shortly after his arrival. During the altercation gunfire was exchanged between the 18 year old male from Union and a 19 year old male from Falmouth. The 19 year old from Falmouth sustained a gunshot wound to his chest and was transported to the University of Kentucky by helicopter. The 18 year old from Union sustained a gunshot wound to the face and was transported to the University of Cincinnati by helicopter. This incident remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police and KSP Detective Scott Lengle.
