Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Increase

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg is announcing an increase in traffic enforcement involving commercial vehicles and other large vehicle traffic. The enforcement will focus primarily on safety violations and moving violations involving commercial vehicle traffic on Interstate 71 in the Campbellsburg Post area. The enhanced traffic enforcement is in response to the recent increase of vehicle collisions and road closures directly related to the commercial vehicle population traveling on Interstate 71.
The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division will be assisting the Kentucky State Police with the enhanced enforcement. Traffic violations may reported to the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state).
