Extension of KSP Post Five Citizen Academy

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police at Post 5 in Campbellsburg is announcing an extension for receiving applications for the Citizen's Police Academy. The previously scheduled beginning date of Monday, October 5, 2009 has been postponed and a future date will be established. The scheduled class times will remain on Monday evenings. Applications are available at the Kentucky State Police Post in Campbellsburg and online at the Kentucky State Police web site located under the Post 5 page. Post 5 2009 Kentucky State Police Citizens Police Academy Application

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police at Post 5 in Campbellsburg are announcing a Citizen's Police Academy beginning on Monday, October 5, 2009. This learning opportunity will provide those in the class with an in depth look at the multiple aspects of the Kentucky State Police as well as an opportunity to interact with the Troopers that work the local communities. The classes will be held each Monday from 7:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. and will last for 11 weeks. Applications for the class are limited to 25 and are available at the Kentucky State Police Post in Campbellsburg. Inquires or questions may be directed to Trooper Seth Willis at 502-532-6363.

Applicants for the class must be at least 18 years old and have no prior felony convictions.
