Sodomy Arrest in Carrollton, Kentucky

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- On Tuesday July 21, 2009 the Kentucky State Police arrested Datren Lamar Pate age 27 from Carrollton, Kentucky. Mr. Pate, a former assistant with youth services and member of the United Pentecostal Church in Carrollton, Kentucky was charged with one count of Sodomy 3rd Degree and two counts of Use of a minor under the age of 16 in a sexual performance. The charges are related to an ongoing investigation that began on July 13th of this year in response to concerns from a parent.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by Detective Kevin Johnson with the Kentucky State Police. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Detective Johnson at the Kentucky State Police Post, at 502-532-6363.
